Have anyone wondered the significance of Jesus Christ present in the Tabernacle of each Catholic Church (in the physical form of Bread) so that any of us could approach Him 24/7, anytime when we need Him?
Many of our friends after reading Life Encouragements-111 have shared with us. They wanted us to compile their personal experiences so that you could similarly be encouraged:
You may have a painful childhood, with the painful past memories haunting you even you are now grown up and have started working;
You may be undergoing a difficult relationship, and you wonder how you could solve it;
You may have been informed by the doctors that you have a terminal illness, such as cancer in the final stage, and they are now unable to do anything further to have you treated;
You may have difficult in-laws, who always bug you after you return home tired from work, and they refuse to help in the household chores;
You may have a difficult /violent spouse, who has no self-control (?), behaves lewdly (?), and whenever you look at him/her, you would have a headache/feel sick and your blood pressure would start to rise; you even wonder how you could possibly marry such a person in the first place … ;
You may have a rebellious child, whom you have loved and you spent all your hard earned money in educating him / her, who eventually turned out to be a great disappointment for you and only gives you heartache;
You may be oppressed at your work place, and your supervisor is always playing the tyrant and giving you a hard time; even you have put in your best;
All these problems and many more other seemingly impossible cases not listed above, that could be experienced by anyone when one is alive, have anyone wondered how we are going to overcome it?
Here’s is the solution offered by our friends who wanted us to publish and share with you:
Obviously, there might not be quick-fixes to such problems. Sometime, you may even wonder how these problems could arise even you have put in your best in life and behave justly as a good person.
However, these people who have emerged harmless and victorious in the midst of such trials have something in common: they always spend time sitting before the Tabernacle in the Church, telling Jesus all their problems and offering them to Him…
After all, we are merely poor human beings, God knows very well that we can’t solve these problems and He does not expect us to solve them by our own strength. Remember always that He loves us and He knows why we suffer all these trials even we have been good:
“We know that by turning everything to their good God cooperates with all those who love Him, with all those that He has called according to His purpose.” - Romans 8:28 (Encouragements-1).
“Be sincere of heart, be steadfast, and do not be alarmed when disaster comes. Cling to Him and do not leave Him, so that you may be honoured at the end of your days.” – Ecclesiasticus / Sirach 2:2-3 (Encouragements 100).
After all, don’t you agree that these humanly impossible problems could not be solved by anyone; the best way is to tell Jesus who is the Almighty God who loves us and let Him solve it? Well, trust these people who have experienced them, they have tried “Jesus” and eventually they emerged harmless…
They told us from their experiences that sometimes, the pain within them could be so great that they were unable to pray and concentrate; they would just sit in-front of the Tabernacle, looking at Jesus and let Him look at them.
Believe Jesus, He understands. He who was born and lived among us, died on the cross and raised from the dead understands. Don’t you know that though He healed the sick and raised the dead, He also suffered the rejection of some who benefitted from his good works … He even suffered the betrayal of His beloved Apostle Judas Iscariot, who sat and ate with Him, lived and worked with Him for 3 years in His public ministry? This last one was probably the most painful one like a sword stabbing into His Sacred Heart.
He is “a man of sorrows, familiar with suffering, one from whom, as it were, we averted our gaze, despised, for whom we had no regard. Yet ours were the sufferings he was bearing, ours the sorrows he was carrying, while we thought of him as someone being punished and struck with affliction by God; whereas he was being wounded for our rebellions, crushed because of our guilt; the punishment reconciling us fell on him, and we have been healed by his bruises.” – Isaiah 53:3-5.
“It was essential that he (hereinafter referred to “Jesus Christ”) should in this way be made completely like his brothers so that he could become a compassionate and trustworthy high priest for their relationship to God, able to expiate the sins of the people. For the suffering he himself passed through while being put to the test enables him to help others when they are being put to the test.” – Hebrews 2:17-18.
Trust Jesus, He would help you to resolve all these impossible cases. It may take some time, but many people told us that even the problems did not resolve immediately, they experienced inner healing and became stronger people; they experienced an inner transformation and found peace. And eventually, they were informed by Him how to resolve these problems, sometimes within a single day and other times, like step-by-step instructions which were given at intervals of time. Don’t worry, the answer would come at the right time so that you would not suffer harm because you are so precious to Him and He loves you; especially if you have lived your life as a good person – you could develop a loving relationship with Him like that of “one-to-one” tuition sessions. 8-)
So, go to Jesus and you will be comforted and be consoled, though your suffering may be so intense that you think you could not go on. Be brave and just live one second at a time, abandon everything to Him and let Him carry you. You don’t have to think if you can’t think anymore, as it would be too confusing! After all, He would tell you what to do next, because He is faithful to you, He loves you & He would take good care of you. 8-) 13 June 2012 |

Extracted from the holy Gospel according to Matthew, Chapter 5:
Jesus taught his disciples:
17 'Do not imagine that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete them.
18 In truth I tell you, till heaven and earth disappear, not one dot, not one little stroke, is to disappear from the Law until all its purpose is achieved.
19 Therefore, anyone who infringes even one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be considered the least in the kingdom of Heaven; but the person who keeps them and teaches them will be considered great in the kingdom of Heaven.
27 'You have heard how it was said, you shall not commit adultery.
28 But I say this to you, if a man looks at a woman lustfully; he has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
29 If your right eye should be your downfall, tear it out and throw it away; for it will do you less harm to lose one part of yourself than to have your whole body thrown into hell.
30 And if your right hand should be your downfall, cut it off and throw it away; for it will do you less harm to lose one part of yourself than to have your whole body go to hell.
31 'It has also been said, Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a writ of dismissal.
32 But I say this to you, everyone who divorces his wife, except for the case of fornication, makes her an adulteress; and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
Extracted from the 1st letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians, Chapter 6:
9 Do you not realize that people who do evil will never inherit the kingdom of God? Make no mistake - the sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, the self-indulgent, sodomites,
10 thieves, misers, drunkards, slanderers and swindlers, none of these will inherit the kingdom of God.
11 Some of you used to be of that kind: but you have been washed clean, you have been sanctified, and you have been justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and through the Spirit of our God.
12 'For me everything is permissible'; maybe, but not everything does good. True, for me everything is permissible, but I am determined not to be dominated by anything.
13 Foods are for the stomach, and the stomach is for foods; and God is going to do away with both of them. But the body is not for sexual immorality;
14 it is for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body. God raised up the Lord and he will raise us up too by his power.
15 Do you not realize that your bodies are members of Christ's body; do you think one can take parts of Christ's body and join them to the body of a prostitute? Out of the question!
16 Or do you not realize that anyone who attaches himself to a prostitute is one body with her, since the two, as it is said, become one flesh.
17 But anyone who attaches himself to the Lord is one spirit with him.
18 Keep away from sexual immorality. All other sins that people may commit are done outside the body; but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.
19 Do you not realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you and whom you received from God?
20 You are not your own property, then; you have been bought at a price. So use your body for the glory of God. Important Note: You have noted that the aforesaid are not our inventions. Thus if you are in anyway disagreed, please feel free to challenge Jesus Christ and Saint Paul, we trust that they would be glad to clarify all your doubts. 8-) You asked, ‘But I want to compare what’s written in the Bible and what the Church teaches ?’ The Answer: Here 8-) 25 June 2012
