Here’s God’s Special Blessings to you this Christmas and the New Year:
Yahweh spoke to Moses and said, 'Speak to Aaron and his sons and say: "This is how you must bless the Israelites. You will say: May Yahweh bless you and keep you. May Yahweh let his face shine on you and be gracious to you. May Yahweh show you his face and bring you peace." This is how they must call down my name on the Israelites, and then I shall bless them.' (Numbers 6:22-27)
Yahweh has appeared to me from afar; I have loved you with an everlasting love and so I still maintain my faithful love for you. (Jeremiah 31:3)
In a flood of anger, for a moment I hid my face from you. But in everlasting love I have taken pity on you, says Yahweh, your redeemer. (Isaiah 54:8)
For the mountains may go away and the hills may totter, but my faithful love will never leave you, my covenant of peace will never totter, says Yahweh who takes pity on you. (Isaiah 54:10)
For Yahweh is good, his faithful love is everlasting, his constancy from age to age. (Psalms 100:5)
For I am Yahweh: I love fair judgement, I hate robbery and wrong-doing, and I shall reward them faithfully and make an everlasting covenant with them. (Isaiah 61:8)
but I show faithful love to thousands, to those who love me and keep my commandments. (Deuteronomy 5:10)
But God, being rich in faithful love, through the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our sins, brought us to life with Christ -- it is through grace that you have been saved- and raised us up with him and gave us a place with him in heaven, in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:4-6)
I shall make an everlasting covenant with them, never to cease in my efforts for their welfare, and I shall put respect for me in their hearts, so that they will never turn away from me again. (Jeremiah 32:40)
From this you can see that Yahweh your God is the true God, the faithful God who, though he is true to his covenant and his faithful love for a thousand generations as regards those who love him and keep his commandments, (Deuteronomy 7:9)
Yahweh is tenderness and pity, slow to anger, full of faithful love. Yahweh is generous to all, his tenderness embraces all his creatures. (Psalms 145: 8-9)
How can you say, Jacob, how can you repeat, Israel, 'My way is hidden from Yahweh, my rights are ignored by my God'? Did you not know? Had you not heard? Yahweh is the everlasting God, he created the remotest parts of the earth. He does not grow tired or weary, his understanding is beyond fathoming. He gives strength to the weary, he strengthens the powerless. Youths grow tired and weary, the young stumble and fall, but those who hope in Yahweh will regain their strength, they will sprout wings like eagles, though they run they will not grow weary, though they walk they will never tire. (Isaiah 40: 27-31)
Psalms 91 1 You who live in the secret place of Elyon, spend your nights in the shelter of Shaddai, 2 saying to Yahweh, 'My refuge, my fortress, my God in whom I trust!' 3 He rescues you from the snare of the fowler set on destruction; 4 he covers you with his pinions, you find shelter under his wings. His constancy is shield and protection. 5 You need not fear the terrors of night, the arrow that flies in the daytime, 6 the plague that stalks in the darkness, the scourge that wreaks havoc at high noon. 7 Though a thousand fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, you yourself will remain unscathed. 8 You have only to keep your eyes open to see how the wicked are repaid, 9 you who say, 'Yahweh my refuge!' and make Elyon your fortress. 10 No disaster can overtake you, no plague come near your tent; 11 he has given his angels orders about you to guard you wherever you go. 12 They will carry you in their arms in case you trip over a stone. 13 You will walk upon wild beast and adder, you will trample young lions and snakes. 14 'Since he clings to me I rescue him, I raise him high, since he acknowledges my name. 15 He calls to me and I answer him: in distress I am at his side, I rescue him and bring him honour. 16 I shall satisfy him with long life, and grant him to see my salvation.'
